How to Handle an Appeal places emphasis on the technical issues of the appeal process with tips and guidelines on drafting motions for leave, record preparation and filing, and meeting deadlines. Checklists, forms, and model briefs are included to provide a framework and examples of good practice. Advice is given for pinpointing arguments strengths and combating case weaknesses through research on legal precedents, forming counter-points, and avoiding errors.
