Guide to the Texas rules of evidence (Texas practice series)

This two volume set is designed to serve as comprehensive, yet practical guide to Texas evidence law. Each Texas rule of evidence is included along with extensive commentary. The relationship of the current rules to their common-law antecedents is explained. Chapters cover general provisions, judicial notice, notes on presumptions, relevancy and its limits, privileges, witnesses, opinions and expert testimony, hearsay, authentication and identification, contents of writings, recordings, and photographs, and Criminal Article XI. Also the federal rules of evidence are briefly covered.
