A lawyer's guide to dangerous dog issues
100 pages. No updates available.
This volume challenges many of the typical legal assumptions surrounding certain dog breeds. Divided into three separate parts, the first part entitled "Dangerous Dog Laws" questions the constitutionality of ordinances that profile certain breeds and whether these ordinances are even effective at addressing the problems with these dangerous dogs. The second section looks at prosecuting and defending dangerous dog cases. The last section covers breed discrimination from homeowner’s associations and zoning boards as well as issues owners of certain breeds may face with insurance companies.
