This text focuses on the multidisciplinary field of bioethics. It is divided into four major areas. The first part looks at the scientific, religious, and legal aspects of bioethics. The second part evaluates bioethical issues and discusses approaches for their resolution. The third part focuses on end of life issues such as physician assisted suicide. The fourth part looks at issues in genetics and genetic engineering. The author includes case law to help understand the issues presented.
