Recommended Titles and Treatises
To help provide access to the Texas State Law Library's legal resources, the reference librarians have selected the most noteworthy titles in our collection and arranged them here by subject. The titles listed for each subject feature a brief summary written by a reference librarian, and each subject's titles are divided into those that are specific to Texas law and those that aren't.

How arbitration works
1 volume. Updated by new edition.
The seventh edition of this comprehensive treatise provides authoritative treatment of labor arbitration. New to the seventh edition is information on retiree health insurance, protection of intellectual property, recognition of unions, the ability to enforce agreements which would waive statutory claims, unauthorized practice of law by non-lawyer advocates, the right to appeal a denial of grievance to arbitration, and public sector off-duty misconduct. Also new to this edition is a table of arbitration awards.
