This publication serves as a useful reference tool for key laws and legal concepts for nonprofit directors and executives. It provides information on how to form a nonprofit corporation, tax considerations and the legal obligations of the board. Information is also provided on lobbying and electioneering, the basic concepts of intellectual property, employment law and employee benefits law.
