To help provide access to the Texas State Law Library's legal resources, the reference librarians have selected the most noteworthy titles in our collection and arranged them here by subject. The titles listed for each subject feature a brief summary written by a reference librarian, and each subject's titles are divided into those that are specific to Texas law and those that aren't.

Juries and Jury Instructions
Texas criminal pattern jury charges: crimes against persons
443 pages. Updated irregularly.
This title is the third in a series prepared by the Committee on Pattern Jury Charges—Criminal of the State Bar of Texas. The Committee has "attempted to produce instructions that impartially reflect current statutory and case law using language that is understandable to jurors." The instructions went through an extensive reviewing process by lawyers and judges working in criminal law. Extensive commentary is provided to assist the practicing attorney in using the charges.
