This updated work on the law of financial institutions covers the new regulatory, legislative, and judicial environment following the implementation of recent federal legislation--the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010. In addition, the work provides a similar primer on banking law to previous editions. It contains discussion of the structure of banks and their regulation as well as relevant federal law on many aspects of banking practice.
