To help provide access to the Texas State Law Library's legal resources, the reference librarians have selected the most noteworthy titles in our collection and arranged them here by subject. The titles listed for each subject feature a brief summary written by a reference librarian, and each subject's titles are divided into those that are specific to Texas law and those that aren't.

This five volume set provides authoritative coverage of the legal responsibilities and liabilities of hospitals and health care providers. The first four volumes present thorough analysis of all major health law issues from accreditation of health care organizations to taxation. These sections provide state-by-state analysis of key legal issues, case law, forms, practical advice and checklists. Volume V contains up to date rules, regulations, and laws on different health law topics including abortion, AIDS, fraud and abuse, health care coverage, medical records, unions, and medical records. Also comes with a companion CD-ROM.
