Criminal Procedure
Federal criminal appeals

Explores the process of adjudicating criminal appeals in the US Courts of Appeals and the United State Supreme Court. Chapters cover the role of appellate counsel, jurisdiction, appealability, scope and standards of review, and the decision making process. Supreme Court appeals are addressed in a dedicated chapter. Appendices include rules of the Supreme Court as well as the individual Circuit Courts.
