Designed for attorneys and banking professionals, this title gives an analysis of the Texas Legislature’s codification of the state’s usury law. Topics include: relationship to the old Texas credit code, types of interest, direct closed-end and open-end credit, dealer paper, and interest calculations. The text contains the recently passed HB955 and SJR21 which significantly alters major passages of the Texas Finance Code.
