The titles listed for each subject feature a brief summary written by a reference librarian, and each subject's titles are divided into those that are specific to Texas law and those that aren't.

Municipal law and practice (Texas practice series)
3 volumes. Updated annually.
The three volume set is divided into six parts which cover the history of municipal law in Texas, municipal administration, fiscal administration, public safety, public health and welfare, and land development. It is written in plain English to make these laws accessible for use by municipal employees such as mayors, city council members, and city managers as well as members of the legal profession. Included are appendices containing tables of statutes, rules and regulations, and cases.
