The titles listed for each subject feature a brief summary written by a reference librarian, and each subject's titles are divided into those that are specific to Texas law and those that aren't.

This 2010-2011 edition covers major developments in employment and labor law, including discrimination, wrongful discharge, statutory rights, trade secrets, privacy, and employee/independent contractor issues. The relatively new issue of requiring employers to provide notice of security breaches of computerized data is addressed. Sample policies regarding company property, use of electronic equipment and email monitoring are included. There is also a CD-ROM containing the full-text of the book as well as the text of cited cases.
