This text offers information to the consumer on how to build and protect credit and handle debt. It also provides information for those considering bankruptcy as an option. Another focus of the book is to help the consumer decide when they can work on their own and when to seek legal advice. Some of the topics included are dealing with debt, applying for credit, unfair lending, bankruptcy and resolving credit disputes.
