This treatise on constitutional law concentrates on primary documents, cases, constitutional provisions, statutes, and historical documents to allow researchers or instructors to interpret constitutional law on their own. It is divided into four parts: the Constitution and the Courts (the role of the judiciary); Allocation of Governmental Powers (an elaboration of the separation of powers); Government and the Individual (individuals' rights); and Governmental Control of the Content of Expression (First Amendment rights).
